Harry Potter Actor Stabbed to Death in Bar Protecting Brother
A HARRY Potter actor was stabbed to death trying to protect his brother from a knife-wielding thug.
Rob Knox, 18, died defending 16-year-old Jamie outside a bar just after midnight yesterday. Rob had just finished work on Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince, out later this year. He plays Ravenclaw student Marcus Belby.
In a statement, Rob’s parents, Sally and Colin Knox, said: “Rob was kind and thoughtful and would always help out others. He was adored by his family and friends.”
Four other men were hurt in the incident at the Metro Bar in Sidcup, Kent, including the 21-year-old arrested on suspicion of his murder.
Rob’s friend Tom Hopkins, 18, was stabbed in the head as he pinned down the alleged killer. Tom said: “Rob was just trying to help out. He was like that.”
